Collected car from home. Rang to explain what was need to be done. Replaced part on car, did not charge as they did it under goodwill as part had previously been replaced & shouldn't have needed replacing due to low mileage
Apart from the loan car everything was fine.
All was fine until I was presented with the bill - see above comments.
Though my expectations were high, these expectations were met
The fault was found, diagnosed and repaired well so all is good. Motability support not so good.
Prior to service date, the aerial map view enabled quick, correct parking. Fast, friendly check in. Comfortable and warm waiting lounge room, - extremely well facilitated. Mid service call to check authority for extra issue. Wash & vac, appreciated.
They have 'a can do' attitude to any task they do for you.

The staff I interacted with in the service department at South Lakes were very polite and helpful.

The service was excellent. I thought I would need to book a further appointment to get the problem fixed but the team were able to fix it while I waited and the complementary WiFi meant that I could get on with my work in the meantime.

Historically the service is good. However on my visit on the 26th of July the service was not up to scratch. The agreed work for the day was not completed although the car was delivered at 8.15. This I believe was because I had A courtesy car.
A 2 hour job took 9 hours and car was not valetted We discovered two small scratches on the car when we got home Bad organisation When warranty runs we will not use the BMW Lloyds again which after using it for 6 years is sad.
The actual services which I believe are usually carried out by Steve have always been excellent, so I cannot fault the car servicing itself. However, trying to book our cars in for a service or for an emergency service has always been a nightmare!

A six week wait for a service was a pain with having to switch off the alerts every time I got in the car, so multiple times a day. It also meant other important information was not obvious as I always had multiple notifications. It is a pleasure not

Attention to detail
The service light was left on after service. Spoke to lady on phone who was not particuarly helpful and kept on referring to brake service (October). I would have to put up with light. Spoke to Service Manager - apologised, will correct.

Part of the work that needed doing was missing off the work sheet - but Georgia (from the mini side of the dealership) sorted it all out - and then managed to arrange for a part to be delivered and fitted the next morning. Full marks to Georgia!!

Courtesy car was ready for us and we were contacted when they found a problem with the car and with permission they quickly resolved it.

Was told the service would take a couple of hours, so was able to leave and come back later. Coffee etc available while waiting, if wanted.
Booking in has been more of a problem than in the past, possibly due to the alterations being carried out, however I didn't get the usual customer service expected at LSL.

Communication was excellent, time taken to get spec right complete test drives etc was excellent
John Bond was fantastic
Before placing the order John responded quickly to our queries and arranged a number of test drives without being pushy. Explained everything and held our hands throughout the process and kept us informed of progress between order and delivery.
