Great staff and pleasant surroundings
Thorough and methodical work undertaken by the Service department. I drive many miles solo, so having confidence in the work undertaken on my car makes for a care-free driving experience.
Could not fault the service.

nobody gets 5, see above, I lowered the score from 4.9 to 4 because the survey insisted I raise my answer to 5, any more prompts to change my answers and I will become negative in the extreme, tiresome
Excellent customer service however not 5 stars as prices are a bit steep for what was essentially an oil change.

called into the garage as it opened with a flat tyre following a puncture via a large screw. Lovely young lady on the desk & very helpful team of chaps repaired my tyre as I had to get back to Manchester for work. I thought it was a very good price

After initial problem with 'reception' a skilled technician was assigned to the X3 problem and his professional and helpful approach to the problem, plus speedy resolution, was very much appreciated.

I booked my car in for a service well in advance. I mentioned that I had a problem with the outside temperature gauge which was faulty. After the service I was told I would have to rebook the car in as they didn't have the part - very inconvenient.

I was really impressed by the professionalism and curtesy of the staff at Lloyd Motors Ltd, Kendal. By far, the best BMW dealership I have dealt with.
Having had a problem with a tyre and unable to drive to South Lakes BMW, within one hour of making the phone call to the service department and BMW breakdown, there was a recovery vehicle and hire car on it's way to me.
Only problem, from my standpoint, was having to take the car in twice for attention due to the need to order a part.
Efficient and courteous
From when you enter the show room to when you leave you are made very welcome. The staff keep you informed at all times on how the job is going.
I should have asked / would have nice to have been asked about satnav update.The only downside is the rather expensive cost of consumables, e,g, oil and filters.

It was a very easy and stress free process which I feel is due to the teams approach to the customers needs.
I had to return to the garage immediately after picking up my car because there was a warning about tyres even though four new ones had been fitted and then returned to the garagea few days after the service because a service warning light came on.

Although I had a problem with my X3 and frustrated by the emergency bmw service response, the people at Lloyds were very accommodating helping to get things sorted

Phoned myself a couple of times about how things were kneeded and approval to continue.
The service was thorough, the only negative aspect was paying for a 'loan car' as the process took around 3-3.5 hrs.

Resolved the problem which was a sticking Gas Recirculating Valve.Modified valve and modified software fitted to help prevent any reoccurrence. However no explanation given as to why this problem should occur on a car only 10 months old.
Always go to South Lakes as opposed to dealer closer to work as they take good care of my car and keep me informed all the way the service process so I can manage my time better.
